• Hard drive: the computer is worth fixing.
• Slow computer: Buy more RAM for the same computer.
• It won't load well or at all: It can be fixed.
• CD-Rom is stuffed: Get a new DVD-Rom for the same computer.

Check out the following list to know when it's probably time to get a new computer:

• The power won't work: check first if it is the power cord, in which case, replace the cord. If not, you will probably need a new computer.
• The computer is falling apart and unable to meet the needs of new programs that you need to run.
